Maybe he should start deferring instead of chucking?

I was unaware that he has this type of injury. Makes sense that his shooting has been crappy the last few games. Not sure what they can do for it. Would think that a cortisone shot might help. But he better find a way to get past it.

He needs to take a couple of games off. It's that simple.
rest would probably be a good thing for him now, at the min. reduced playing time
Not sure is just a couple days off will help a ligament. Ligament damage usually takes quite some time of non-use to heal. I think he will have to get by with cortisone shots until the season is over. But this really hurts. We need him healthy to make the playoffs as we are in a heated race . If we do make the playoffs, we need him healthy and firing on all cylinders if we are to make any noice in the playoffs other than being swept. This is just really crappy timing for the Cats.
I don't want to hear him bitch. Hasn't Kobe played the last two seasons (and the olympics) with a broken finger or something?

Maybe less shot taking and less minutes would help. It is damn tough to play with an injury, kudos to him for fighting through the pain. He just needs rest. Give him a game or two to refresh and let the ligament heal out a bit more before it gets back to being pounded by an orange bouncy ball.
