That video is great, Amour! I expect that SC will be really really prepared to emergencies from here on out!
Well when I sat down to write a script, I came up with the Quiz Show idea, so I was writing some stuff out and it didn't occur to me until the very end to add a biscuit joke into the mix. So I wrote it in.
Usually what I do with these podcasts is write one humorous script and one serious one, because you never know what kind of mood the person will be in...but this time I only wrote the one script, so it was take it or leave it.
We filmed this back the day after the 'Cats lost REAL bad, I think to the Celtics, so LB kicked their butts in practice (which I got to sit through and watch...it was dope)...so I could tell Ray was tired. At first when I showed explained to him what I wanted to do, he was REAL skeptical...but once he sat down and started reading through it on camera, he was cool with it. When the infamous "Fine Ham Biscuit" part came up, I was almost certain he'd want to leave that part out because it was too weird...but he read it and we had to re-shoot it because he was cracking up. When he read it I didn't laugh because the whole time I was thinking "Oh crap, I can't believe he said it!"
I also had to cut out this hilarious conversation we had about Little Debbie cakes
The greatest gift of all! I started busting out laughing when he mentioned ham biscuits as a possible answer, but when the "fine ham biscuit" line came, tears were forming!
+1000 to amour's inimitable irreverent humor
And massive kudos to Raymond for being a good sport and saying aloud the Official BCP Catch Phrase!
Wow, bloody priceless!
