"You know you've made it when" last year's EC champs have fans apologizing for other fans coming to your team's site to predict them winning.
Apology accepted, and in good fun, enjoy the loss Wednesday.
Hey guys great game last night, welcome to the playoffs. I am a STH here in O-Town and you guys had our section pretty stressed for sure.
I browse our forum often but rarely post. Also, during the playoffs I'll check out the oppositions sites just to get the other POV, but again usually don't post. However, after reading some of the trash talking troll BS put on your forum by a small, but loud group of 13 year old Magic fanboys, I feel obligated to speak up for the silent majority.
Throughout the last 20 years I can't remember a time when members of our fan base would act so cocky and rude to another. Maybe it's because we were the underdog most of the time, maybe it's just that we have sooo many bandwagon fans these days. Whatever the reason, as I read these trolls posts on here, I can't help but be disgusted by the fact that some of our 'fans' sound exactly like the Cleveland & Boston trolls that we so despise on our boards. (probably more like Cleveland in that at least the C's trolls can back their talk with a recent chip).
Anyway, I hope you don't judge our entire fan base by a few posts made by some pre-adolescent smack talking losers. (every team has a couple). As for the rest of the series, good luck (not too much tho) and good health.

(To any Magic 'fans' who take issue w/ this thread, feel free to meet me in Section 221 for further discussion. K, Thx.) GO MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome and thanks for posting. I certainly don't consider the Magic trolls posting here as the majority at all.

Fabulous post! Frankly, none of that shit bothers me anymore. As an Astros baseball fan, about 10 years ago I let Cubs and Cards trolls get to me and cause me to make an ass of myself, and finally stop being a member of any fansite 'til I found good 'ol BCP, and a couple youngins hiding behind internet annonymity aren't going to ruin it for me.
Thanks for taking the time, it's definitely appreciated nonetheless! Especially love the postscript! Give 'em hell, manAnd after this series, I wish you guys the best.
"The Charlotte Hornets name has been a mainstay throughout the region for many years, and we are excited to announce our intention to re-establish this historic brand. We believe that its return will galvanize our fan base by unifying our loyal Bobcats fans with those who have strong memories of our city's NBA predecessor." MJ, 5-21-13
Good ol' post old chap.
As you can see how bad the social degradation of society is.
We have bandwagoners, immature 13 year old brats, aggro kids on video games (you get that so much in Counter Strike, it's hilarious to diss them), and people like Miley Cyrus, Paris Hilton and that Justin guy...Bieber or whatever.
It's like the new generation are full of immature brats...we can only pray that they grow up. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Good post, Cole. We will see how the series goes. May the best team win.
lol I think that's a strong generalization. The people who listen to those musical artists are typically girls. As for bandwagon fans..well..kids will be kids. I get frustrated when I go to a Bobcats game against the Lakers or Cavs and see hundreds of Lebron and Kobe fans. Most of these people have never been to those respective cities, yet they love the teams.
Then I recalled when I was a child. I liked the Charlotte Hornets, but I LOVED the Bulls and MJ. It was a huge moment for me being able to see MJ when he came to Charlotte, and there was no doubt who I was rooting for. So if a kid wants to jump on the bandwagon for a great player, I think that's fine. They will develop a love for the game as a result.
I do agree that there is a strong level of immaturity. Trying to play a game online is difficult to do without subjecting yourself to the insults of some E-Thugs.
Cole, you are an embarrassment to the Blue and White Nation. There's nothing wrong with some good-natured smack talk, even if it involves taunting and braggadocio. Take pride in your team and don't be such a wussy. I would meet you in 221, but I don't like climbing the steps to the upper level. Feel free to meet me down in 102 if the ushers let you.
