We are a great defensive team, but defense alone won't win you ball games. Our PG is offensively medicore at best, Jax is an ineffective high volume scorer, Wallace can't do anything besides dashing into people and get foul calls, Diaw is a pussy, and our centers have no offensive game at all. That's it.
LOL....reading your sig and your posts tell me there's a hint of irony being injected here.

I think Hendo is the next MJ. Clearly already a better player than MJ was at this point in his career. Maybe better than SJack. We'll have to see but, this guy looks like 2nd GOAT (behind Allen Iverson) material to me

    Default Amusing

I have to say, it is rather hilarious how you guys were talking so much smack before this series began and now you're already looking at possible off-season moves to improve your team. It's as if you've given up hope. Hey, you're only down 2-0! Do you know how many times the Orlando Magic has given up a 2-0 lead in the playoffs and lost a series?

    Oh yeah...ZERO. Sorry!

You mean like in '94, which happened to be your first playoff series as a franchise, where you guys got swept 3-0 by Indiana? Might I add that yall were the higher seeded team in that matchup.

Or maybe the '95 finals when you guys were the number 1 seed in the east and got swept in the finals (4-0) by the 6 seeded team from the west, Houston?

And surely you can't be talking about in '96 when you got swept in the conference finals 4-0 by the Bulls?

I'm guessing '07 didn't happen either when the Pistons rolled you guys in the first round 4-0?

I must say, you guys have never even been swept, much less lose when down 0-2. You definitely got us there bud! (I didn't include times you went down 0-2 and were able to win a game before losing the series)

Apparently, the North Carolina public school system doesn't put a strong enough emphasis on reading comprehension. I'll put this in all caps so it stands out enough for your hillbilly eyes to grasp what I am stating:

THE MAGIC HAS NEVER LOST A SERIES IN WHICH THE MAGIC HAS HAD A TWO GAMES TO ZERO LEAD.

    Is that better, Zeke?

Can't say that I know much about the North Carolina public school system, being a product of the South Carolina education system.

I also don't know much about the Social Security system in Florida. How are you and the other geriatric patients being treated, nicely I hope? Does the medicine they give you old crotchety bastards always make you so grumpy and bitter or is that a product of your less than stellar upbringing?

Let me put this in caps so it's more clear: THE BOBCATS HAVE NEVER LOST A PLAYOFFS SERIES IN WHICH THEY HELD A 2-0 LEAD.

Fact check that shit you old osteoporosis having bum. Go drink some metamucil.

When were we ever talking smack
It's nice to have people post, but seriously think before you post. Do you have ANY...ANY CLUE at all what you're typing? Do you have a brain, where it whirls and then you think on what you are going to say before you type? Do you KNOW what you are even typing? Isn't it funny, that the most idiotic people always have something to say. Applies here, with you.

Perhaps we don't share the same view as you. Sure some may go with the Carpe Diem and "seize the day." For us, we seize the day by the balls and we think of the future. And clearly, you have no future with retarded posts like that.

And one other thing. Get your facts right before you post.

This:I do not fear the Magic at all, even though the last game where the Bobcats beat the Magic was a back to back for the Magic with one hour of sleep lost due to Daylights Savings Time.

Based on the bench the Bobcats now have, I think they have more quality depth than Orlando, and that will be the difference, despite Howard and Carter.

We haven't seen the entire Bobcats roster healthy all season, and we still aren't these last few games of the season but if all of their bigs are available in that series (as they are expected to be), I think Magic players are going to be in for a big surprise.

This:I think we can beat Orlando. They are a team that dies on the three as much as they live off it, and if we force them to try (they will oblige) we can beat them as long as we dont do the same thing. And as you said, Dwight will be flustered by our collection of bigs. I see us winning

This:Mark my words, the Bobcats will take one of the first two in Orlando, and Orlando will implode.

This:Orlando doesn't scare me one bit...and we're going to stomp all over them.

This:we beat you scrubs last game without our best player. LOL

This:you also have a terrible coach, wince harder, and you live and die by the three. youll never win a ring. but its ok, Stack Jack and Nazr will let Dwight kiss theirs if he's lucky

And that's all in just one thread. My facts are solid: The Magic has never lost a series in which we have led 2-0. Check it. And have a nice summer.

I agree with all your examples but the second one. What you have with the smack talk post is a bunch of overly excited Bobcats fans going on blind optimism.

I and some others have not talked smack and have used common sense where this playoff series is concerned. I am sure if you wanted to, you could find plenty of sensible post that were only sizing up the competition. There is nothing wrong with that. As far as degrading the Magic and the such, this is a Bobcats basketball team forum and talking trash on it is our business.

Our Bobcats are new to this whole playoffs thing so forgive some if they talk a little smack amongst like minded fans. Is some of the trash talking ignorant? Yes. Being that the Magic are a great team and have earned their stripes. I would not say going into this series that we somehow were a better team. I would say that our Bobcats have proven they can play with the big boys. So based on how this seasons gone it is not unreasonable to think the "weaker" team might have a fighters chance. The best teams don't always win.

I will say that in the case of 7th and 8th seeds the best teams usually do win. Still there are a few instances where 7th and 8th seeds pulled off the upset. Thus a belief our team has a chance.

The one thing Bobcats fans on this forum forget is that our team plays better at home. It is not likely we win the series but I feel our team has a good chance at winning their home games. If they don't they will make things close in both home games.

If all Bobcats fans were as logical and passionate as you, there would be no joy in "trolling" (or talking smack, as I prefer to call it). You are a rare breed on a message board, a level-headed individual committed to insightful discourse and supporting one's team. I truly wish you guys good luck and hope we can avoid your 'Cats until the ECF next season.
