Well the thing with Tony Parker is that he's better than Raymond Felton in EVERY way. On Raymond Felton's best day, he's not quite Tony Parker.
People don't realize how much guys like Ginobli and Parker are restricted in Pop's system. If they were allowed to run wild, or even be a focal point of an offense, they'd put up huge numbers. That being said, I think Larry Brown and Pop are too much alike to assume that Tony Parker would have career numbers if he landed here.
Still, if the Bobcats were to upgrade at point guard this offseason, Tony Parker makes a lot of sense...

I know it was said that he'd want max money in FA, but Thats another year from now, his expiring would be extremely valuable next offseason added to the rest of our expirings. It'd be a great way for MJ to work his influence on some guys and see if we can overhaul the roster.
Next year is (in my eyes) the last solidly productive year for Jack, so of we don't make a deep run we could use those expirings and rewoltheroster without needing to have a down year.
I don't think he'd get max money either way.
...as a one year investment I think TP would be great...keeping in mind that he's a very "old" 28...but I'd like to see it...only "young" big we have to trade is TT and I do not see Pop wanting him...so I don't see a match at all...
As for what the Spurs would want for TP, I could see them going for an older vet only if they thought he was the final piece to a championship team, ala Jamison and the Cavs. Otherwise, I'd think they'd want to inject some youth. Whether they think Jack could be that final piece or not, I don't know. But if I were them, I'd be scared to death of his contract for the reasons stated above.what would the Spurs really want anyway. It is obvious that they are getting old, so do they want a mature vet or do they start with the young movement.
Demon...I'm not sure the contract would scare them...or Jack (since he's played for Pop and Pop likes him) but they're (rumor) looking for a young big to go with Duncan...Pop is very-very picky about BB IQ and we have no "young big" that he would want...that's the problem...
