- add a spot-up shooter (Korver?)
- ship one of the big bodies away
- scare Ray into re-signing for a reasonable amount
- let Larry go and give the young ones a chance
- phase Diaw out of the starting line-up
... oh hell, you said 'one move'.
Its off season so this one thought keeps poping into my mind. With no draft picks and you as the GM . What is the best offseason move you can make?
Keep it realistic NO King James for Diop , lol
Can.t wait to read your ideas............................................. ......
Thanks Ammofan!
I've posted this before so I know it won't be popular, but I'd do Jack for JR Smith + Balkman. It's realistic, it makes us younger w/o compromising talent, gives us the long range shooter we desperately need and possibly helps us land CP in a couple of years.
Agree with picking up a shooter like Korver and trading away that scrub (waste of cap and bench space) Diop.
But to be realistic... MJ should focus on buying a draft pick, whether 1st or 2nd round. The 2010 draft class is pretty solid IMO. I know our draft records haven't been pretty, but hopefully that will change.
First im all for the draft pick . Its just something about getting a pick thets special.
Deamoncat what about this . Its not going to be popular either but realistic.
1st Henderson , Augustin ,for Beasley
2nd T Thomas s+t for Smith and Lawson
It all so alows us to shop JAX
THOUGHTS and ideas
Thanks Ammofan!
Lebron James for Diop.
A big NO to the first part... Beasley plays no D and is just lazy on the court, would not work for LB (if he stays). Lets just do a direct trade with Denver... JR + Lawson for Hendo + Augustin (plus a Diop gift). T2 is staying long-term for what we gave up; resign Felton if price is right. Wow how awesome would that be to have Felton and Lawson on the same team?!
