76ers are willing to trade the number 2 overall pick

The Sixers are reportedly making the No. 2 pick in the draft available, but there are strings attached.
A team would have to take Elton Brand and the three years, $51 million left on his contract along with the pick. It's a pretty sure bet that no NBA team is going to take on that burden, so the pick is probably staying with the Sixers.

i might be the only guy left who thinks Brand is still capible of being a 20/10 guy, so it might blind me a little bit when i say i would do this in a heart beat. While the finnacial reprocussions would be obvious, i think if we got Brand he would put up big numbers in our system.

And i think we could lowball too. If the Wizards were willing to trade their pick and only got Mike Miller/Randy Foye in return, i am guessing the Sixers wouldnt ask for much more than taking Brand's contract.

I would trade for that pick. If we can trade Boris and Gana/ nazr then we could draft turner and that would make jax expandable and maybe even get a playoff pg out of him. I love turners style of play, unlike hendo he has handles and has a pretty good jumper.

If I were MJ I'd be on the phone with philly RIGHT NOW... Brand and pick #2 for Diaw and Diop, We'd be dumb as hell to not. I mean until the wizards actually pick, there is no 100% that wall will go first, you never know, and if they do take wall, there are some killer guys in the draft. Maybe the nets would trade 3 and 31 for 2 ? Or the wolves maybe take 2 for 4 and 16 (ours) or ever 4 and 23. It would just be dumb, I mean brand is better than diaw any day of the week
