We could always use the 2 and a s&t with tyrus or felts to try and go after bosh or the starting pg we desperatly need.

Um guys, there is absolutely no way in hell that they trade 2 and Brand for Diaw and Diop. Come up with something new, like perhaps what Slam offered up:

Jack + Nazr for Turner + Brand

    sure seems more likely

Philly has probably one of the top 5 dumbest FOs in the league right now. Hope x 1000

They will not entertain trading up to #2. The ONLY reason they'd do that is if the Wizards decided to go with someone not named John Wall.

Let's evaluate this: Larry Brown very rarely has rookies play solid numbers their rookie season (example: DJ Augustin and Gerald Henderson)

The only rookie Brown and company would make a drastic move for is John Wall due to Larry's obsession at the PG position. This is the era of dominate PGs, so if we could find a way to draft Wall, then we gotta do it.

Seeing as Washington will more than likely not pass up the opportunity to pick Wall, then I would say our hopes for this trade are slim to none.

so they would run a lineup of

    holliday
    jax
    iggy
    thad young?
    dalembert

too small. i just don't see jax as a big-time want for them considering his price tag and age.
if it was jax for brand they would do it in a heartbeat. or if we had say a top 6 or 7 pick they might do it with a future 1 for us.

This is a little off topic but John Wall is getting overhyped a bit... he's good, but not Lebron-all-or-nothing-no-one-else-in-the-draft-will-be-better good. He can't run a team. If you look at that Kentucky roster... wow, any point guard with above average passing abilities would've flourished. I really don't even feel as though he was the best player on his own team. It was impossible to double team anyone on that roster, which is full of nba talent, without getting destroyed. Whereas on the otherhand, Turner got double'd every game and OSU's success was directly dependent on him.

Btw, DJ got his minutes from LB during his rookie year.

And John Wall in Larry Brown system would make me consider jumping off a building.

couldn't agree more. this chad ford stuff, about any team would take him with the POSSIBLE exception of NO or Utah. seriously? i would take derrick rose of john wall any day. john wall is going to have a lot of trouble with the bigger/stronger more physical nba game. i think he is sometimes sloppy and turnover prone. he also has a lot of problems running a slow down half court offense. with that said if the bobcats had the #1 pick, i would totally pick him or work out an outstanding trade.
