    And Stephen Jackson.

    I'd rather have Turner.

You need a post player more than a point guard moron.

I'm not confident that the Sixers will unload the pick, but if expirings is what the Sixers are after, I would do it. Not because I'm a huge Brand fan, but because Evan Turner could be just what this team needs going forward. In Brand, we would get a like-minded veteran (Want to win now and prove to people I've still got it) to go along with Crash and Jack. In Turner we'd get a guy that could assist with the biggest issue no one is talking about: Fewer minutes for both Jack and Crash. When Jack's contract expires we'd have someone ready to step in and become the face of the franchise.

If this "shopping" is legit, I suspect a draft pick would need to be returned, which would obviously be a potential deal breaker for us.

I'm not as convinced as some regarding Turner, instead looking at this only from a projected role-filling perspective.

Based on what exactly? Raymond's poised to be potentially overpaid while the team is at least two deep at both PF and C.

    Stop the namecalling.

And if LB returns...........it's more likely Flip(if we re sign him) and any other 55 year old veteran will get the backup minutes if he does.

Shouldn't Henderson be able to step up and fill that role next season? That's assuming he puts in plenty of work on his jumper over the summer.

The 76ers would be more inclined if a pick (this year) was coming back...we might be able to do something if we buy one of the 20ish picks available...it would certainly make the expiring contracts we have more appealing...just a thought...

    Default 3 way w/ Philly & Denver

Bobcats trade: Jax, Tyrus, DJ, Henderson, Tyson, Naz ($38+)
Bobcats get: Brand, #2, Nene, JR smith, Lou Williams ($38.6)

    C-Nene/Diop/Lexy
    PF-Brand/UPS
    SF-Wallace/Diaw
    SG-Turner/Smith
    PG-Williams/Flip

We take on long term salary but for the most part get a lot younger

    76ers trade:Brand,#2, Lou Williams ($21.3)
76ers get: Henderson, DJ, Tyson ($17.75)

    C-Tyson/Sammy
    PF-Speights/Smith
    SF-Iggy/Thad
    SG-Green/Henderson
    PG-Jrue/DJ

They dont want brand...they also want to move williams long term deal since drafting jrue...dj an jrue can battle for the position...again they would have a lot of cap room next year...ppl said we should buy a pick an package that with tyson, but adding henderson an dj is like giving them 2 first round picks

Nuggets trade: Nene, JR smith ($17.3)
Nuggets get: Jax, Naz, Tyrus ($21.6)

    C-Birdman/Naz
    PF-KMart/Tyrus
    SF-Melo/Tyrus
    SG-Jax/Afflalo
    PG-Billups/Lawson

Ok still don't know if nuggets would do this...but they get a much better SG in jackson vs. JR...plus they add tyrus, who they have been wanting...after next year, if they decide to move lawson up to starter an not pick up the option on billups, they will have $36.5 million coming off the books JUST by losing billups(old), Kmart(not the same), Naz(old) alone...plus if Melo decides to go to NY, then that means they would have $53 million in cap from 4 players...while still having a core of lawson, jax, tyrus, birdman

You have been admonished for being an ass before and yet you continue to be an ass. There is no need to call people names you don't agree with. Why not simply make your case without being mean spirited?!!!!
