I definety wouldn't be against it. After his dropoff I'm not sure where to begin with him to get the DJ we know and love back.
I think I remember Dudley going to summer league in his third year. After the lackluster year DJ had last year I don't think it would be a bad idea to send him too. That smurf needs to start bulding some confidence.
So my question is why isn't DJ in summer league?

Get at me on twitter @dcarnys
I'm all for it, get him playing with Hendo, UPS, Lexy and company. The more they play together the more they gel. They are after all the future.![]()

Sending DJ to summer league is only going to kill his confidence more. Starters in this league don't play summer league ball. If he has to step in and be our starter, which is a distinct possibility, I can't vote for him playing.
If Felts resigns or they bring someone else in, I'd like to see him play a few games but that's it.
I also thought about posting this question and i saw 2 things:
1) Dj goes, thinks what the hell am i doing here with these rookies and free agents. If he doesnt ansolutley dominate like everyone would expect he would think wow this sucks and confidence would be ruined before the season started
2) DJ goes, thinks ok fair enough, plays well and all is good in the world
Mentaly i think its vital how it effects him

Go easy on me, I'm from England, and no... I Don't love the Queen.
The major thing I think we are forgeting is Larry Brown. He likes to tear things down and then build them up. Supposely he's doing that with DJ , one reason he might have had such a lackluster year. I think that and Felton starting the year off so well. LB wanted DJ to be more of a PG then a SG in his playing style. To me he did a good job as PG. He's not really a big playmaker, But when he starts he gets the job done. As a SG he all out sucked, Larry Hughes might even have shot the ball better.
If DJ isn't starting i think SL is a good idea if he is starting then that MIGHT be a waste of time.
cause we don't want to run the slight trade value he still has
