You answered your own question. In the only credible deal with Gana & Boris I've seen we were taking back Hedo's terrible contract.
No need to take offense. For the most part I liked your scenario.
There's no offense on my part...just discussing. I question the validity of the Hedo rumors because I don't think Michael Jordan bought the team to take on even worse contracts than the deals he has now. I just question that, in this market, we're going to find someone this year to take on the contracts of Diop and Diaw without being killed with contracts that I don't feel Michael wants to be strapped with.
You don't think they could get better than Nazr? Kevin Love was a 5th overall pick, and the reason he was behind Darko was because of fit with AL Jeff. They also don't need expirings.
Besides, the rumors have them preferring to move Al Jeff over Love.
It'd be awesome for you to be right, but I don't see it.
That's the question of the day. Not the idea of them wanting to deal both guys away for expiring deals, but whether or not Nazr is the best contract they could acquire to make the deal.
I don't know honestly, but I do know we'll be looking to send one of our expiring contracts for some players that can be huge contributors on the 2010/2011 Charlotte Bobcats roster. I also hope it happens as I really like Love and Sessions, but it's just a matter of whether Minnesota can't find a better offer.
I just took a stab thinking it might be this deal, but like I said in my disclaimer, this might not be the exact deal, but I feel that's the kind of deal we're looking to make in this market. We have 2 pieces that are valuable league wide and it might supersede the normal value in a deal.
