is it sandbox/open world by any chance?![]()
Finally got my hands on it like 2 days ago and I am absolutely loving it. Use to watch Transformers all the time as a kid, not sure which generation. But after reading reviews, I decided to take the plunge and buy it and I don't regret a thing. Been playing mostly campaign with some multiplayer. Multiplayer is intense and utterly fun, not to mention hectic. The combat can be relatively simple yet can be surprisingly complex and very deep when you take into account transformations, abilities and the use of the environment. I recommend this game to any action buff, and especially to transformers fans.
I put my seal of approval on this product.

Unfortunately no. It's not sandbox. Would be pretty awesome if it was. Multiplayer is awesome though. The amount of stuff you can do. Since my motto in transformers is that it's not killing that counts, it's killing in style.

Probably not my type of game then, for me it was a case of "once you try a sandbox, you never wanna go back" i've got Fifa's, Nba 2k's, Cod's and sandbox's :L

Admittedly, I never was a Transformers fan (GI Joe? Hell yes!), but I got the game very cheap through Amazon.com bonuses and I found the game to be a pain in the ass. The graphics were amazing, and the "transforming" was fun, but the weapons were horrible, the bosses unfairly difficult on online co-op, and since I'm not a Transformer fan, the story was boring. Also, the multiplayer is/was nowhere near enough balanced for it to be any fun. Maybe if more people played it, it would be better, but going up against level 20s who've got a ridiculous competitive edge makes for frustration and rage quitting. Take some cues from COD, Halo, Gears of War, Team Fortress, etc.....give everyone a chance to succeed from the get-go, not just those who play it for hours on end since relase date.
Anyway, sold it on ebay for a $20 profit, so I can't hate on the game too much![]()
