No, I actually barely play Empire:Total war.
I don't know, I generally like the era with the slow ass muskets and reloading, but never really got into it.
I'll probably try again, since I won't be buying any more Total War games for a long time.

Empire is a suck ass game filled with bugs and stupid AI that make it almost unplayable. Add the Darthmod however and it is one of the greatest games of all time.

It is pointless to resist!

What you want to download is Darthmod Ultimate Commander version 6.2 (DMUC). It comes with it's own installer so it is a piece of cake to set up. Empire will seem like a totally new game.

I've only played roughly 5 hours, so I wouldn't really know too much about the bugs and stupid AI. But I'll install it and hopefully anything I haven't seen will be fixed . Thanks for the heads up.

You won't be dissapoint!

After you install just make sure to start the game from the DMUC desktop icon.

If your machine can handle it go to options in the DMUC menu (from the desktop icon) and turn on the smoke effects. Makes the battles look a lot cooler.
