I would be tempted to take minutes down to 10 or 12 with diaw playing the 5, give them to kwame. Then i would give him those minutes back at SF instead of Dominic "who the f*** are you"
But otherwise, i think your pretty spot on
Theres a bit of uncertainty surrounding the minutes distribution, particularly at C and PG, or more specifically Livingston vs Augustin and the need to have an adequate C rotation.
I think this is a realistic rotation/minute distribution
CE. Mohammed 22/Diaw 16/Brown 10
PF. Diaw 16/Tyrus 32
SF. Wallace 36/McGuire 12
SG. Jackson 36/Henderson 12
PG. Augustin 28/Livingston 20
10-man rotation
Jackson 36
Wallace 36
Diaw 32
Thomas 32
Augustin 28
Mohammed 22
Livingston 20
Henderson 12
McGuire 12
Brown 10
Carroll, Najera, Diop --> situational/garbage time
What do you think?

Go easy on me, I'm from England, and no... I Don't love the Queen.
yep...hadnt thought of giving Diaw backup minutes
The most contentious issue i expect would be to DJ v Livingston and how the team is able to get Tyrus 30+ minutes
I can't help but feel that Tyrus' season will be the indicator of how far the Bobcats go this season...I think 32 minutes for Tyrus (6th man) is good. Possibly more minutes if Tyrus were to have a great season and help to force a Diaw trade and win the starting PF gig..but I feel a player like Tyrus doesn't NEED to start in order to produce.
I expect he can achieve 13ppg, 8rpg, 1.5spg, 2bpg statline from him this season in 32 minutes. That can help this team alot.
You're forgetting UPS. He can fit in behind Crash instead of McGuire.

Usually, LB runs a tight rotation of eight or nine players and everyone else gets spot minutes. Instead of projecting positions, project their minutes since LB tinkers with where his guys play so much. The 8 rotation (high amounts of minutes) will be
Crash (38.)
Jack (38.)
Boris (38.)
Tyrus (30)
DJ (28.)
Nazr (22)
Livingston (20)
Kwame (12)
The next three guys off the bench will be versatile guys that can do multiple things (namely defend), and provide some rest for the big minute guys (Jack, Crash, Boris, Tyrus)
Najera (12) -- I have a feeling he'll play that Graham role, doesn't really deserve the minutes ahead of the young guys but gets them anyway because he works hard
Hendo (10)
Brown (10)
That leaves 4 guys who will be vying for the last few scraps (minutes): Tank, Hammer, Diop, and What's his face
Hammer is almost guaranteed a DNP unless he steps his defense up
Tank might get a portion of DJ's minutes if he starts the first 10 games slowly or if Shaun (god forbid) gets hurt
Diop will probably be Matt's DNP buddy, but I wouldn't mind if he got 5 or so minutes a game to raise his trade value at least a little
What's his face will either be cut, or get Najera's minutes. The two are interchangable
I agree Swedd...nice breakdown.

I agree with the rotation breakdown, expect I would swap McGuire and UPS.

Here is how I would run it.
C Diaw/Nazr/Diop/Brown
PF T. Thomas/Diaw/Brown
SF Wallace/Brown/McGuire
SG Jackson/Henderson/Carrol
PG DJ/Livingston/Diaw
Guys we are counting on to be in the rotation
DJ
Jackson
Wallace
Thomas
Diaw
Nazr
Guys that might be in the rotation at the end of the year
Hendo - if he can hit his open jumpers
Brown - if he can hit open jumpers and make good decisions
Diop - if he can hit his free throws and rebound
Livingston - if he can stay healthy
K. Brown - if he can figure it out
Carroll - if hendo can't get it done
Najera I predict gets traded before the deadline
I would expect Boris' minutes to drop this season (he averaged 35/mpg last year http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/...t5liNhxkfZPKB4 ), even playing some backup at the Center position. We certaintly all expect Tyrus to be on the floor more, and more often then not that would be at the expense of Boris' minutes. The only way I see Boris playing the same number of minutes as GW and Jack is if we are having distribution problems from the PG's, then Boris will be invaluable to our success. I also think injury will rear it's ugly face and keep Jax and GW from repeating their minutes played last season, which will open more time for others.
I would imagine Carroll gets more time as well (7-10 minutes) mainly because LB defers to Vets over youth, even when it frustrates the fanbase. The season Carroll left (January Trade) LB had mentioned in the training camp that he had more pure shooters on that team then any team in his career-not that any of them have done much with the shooting since, but he was mostly talking about Richardson, Morrison and Carroll. I think outside of DJ and Carroll, we don't have any pure outside shooters (Jack gets it's done, but he's a scorer, not a shooter).
