I'm going to try and go next year. What am I in for?
When's Gillard going to announce the new immigration laws? I've been looking at maybe a 3 year visa for a while. Give me the scoop while you're at it.
TooCool,
I as our resident Australian on BobcatsPlanet, I have to know if seeing things like this are commonplace in your beloved homeland.
If it is, then I must admit that I don't think that I'm brave enough to ever set foot in Australia.

Alrighty then.
I won't sugar coat it for you.
It does happen, and you do get spiders that big over here.
THANKFULLY, not around where I live. All cities and so forth don't have spiders that big.
Cairns is more in the outback of Australia. If you go to our rainforest in Queensland, expect to see Spiders that big (only if you're lucky though).
So from order of chance to seeing bigass spider Rainforest>Cairns>Outback towns>Cities.

as a runner who occasionally passes through a random web or two, this is absolutely petrifying. imagine that thing scurrying about on your face and head.
