Anyone else try the demo?? This game is HORRIBLEEEE haha. Its shockingly bad. I haven't played Live since 2004 when it was decent but I figured I'd try the demo in case its alright (was considering buying 2k and Elite this year since Elite has NBA Jam) But jeez the controls are just stupid, the "realistic physics engine" or whatever feels so unrealistic its funny.
The only cool part of the demo was that Crash got a intro/talking segment with some cool pics (DJ and Felton next to him).
What was also weird to me is that the game is narrated by Jordan Brand athletes and Jordan Brand is all over the game...but MJ himself is in 2k? Weird, but I guess Jordan couldn't resist both paychecks.![]()
They may be able to use Jordan brand, but they aren't able to use Mike himself. If he's licensed to one game (2k11 in this case), he's not allowed to be used in others at the same time--that's why he's not in NBA Jam for example
yea i just played it.....IT SUCKED.....
It was cool to see Gerald and interesting he was the first one that spoke. But the gameplay is bad. 2K is way better and the demo didnt even have commentary, play calling, subs, or anything else. lol

I remember when I was young having NBA Live 2003 on PC. Was so fun because Shaquille oneal would dunk on anyone and everyone. I use to love seeing him just pound it inside. Years later I realize it's pure bull crap to have him dunk on everyone with 5 guys around him.

Did anyone try become a legend? My PG was projected to go top 20. Also, Sherron Collins was projected top 3...
Warning: Not exactly work safe due to excessive language, but this is UTTERLY HILARIOUS.

Just announced that Elite has been delayed until 2011. Good move because the game has so many problems.
Yeah, just saw this, and even though I'm a 2K guy (like most any NBA diehard), that's pretty damn sad. On the plus side, they are giving roster updates for this season for Live 10 which is pretty standup, especially coming from EA. Also, this means EA will be putting out NBA Jam multiplatform and not just for the Wii, fwiw.

Good move by EA. Releasing Elite (which obviously wasn't finished) could've been fatal to their basketball brand. If I were them, I wouldn't even worry about putting it out in January either. I'd just continue working hard on it until NEXT October and release Elite 12.
