I don't understand why Carmelo wouldn't sign in Jersey. In two years, they will be in Brooklyn for a NYC team which is 1 borough and only about 20 minutes on the A,C,E line from Penn Station where the Knicks play. The Knicks are in just as much disarray as the Nets with their roster, if not more. CP3 could still come to Jersey after this season and team up with him in a new state-of-the-art arena, and the new owner has ridiculous amounts of cash to throw around. Personally, I don't see the problem but that's just me. Come on Carmelo..... get Devin Harris in a Cats uniform stat!

scary part is that Diaw for AK doesn't work from the Jazz side $ wise. Infact its not even close. A large contract would be needed to fill that. Hopefully its not Jackson or anything from us. Jackson and Diaw for Harris would really piss me off

Honestly, if it takes throwing in DJ for us to get Harris and end the DJ saga that has dragged on for what seems like an eternity, then I'm okay with it. Bringing in a guard of Harris' caliber would only agitate and worsen the DJ situation and we could get by with Livingston/Crittenton as backups. I wonder if we could get a back-up 4 in return a la Kris Humphries or someone to back-up T2....or does that even work $$ wise?
