I'd send Diaw and DJ if we have two second-rounders coming back...

spectre...I get the poker part and that's why I'd take the two seconds...I doubt we can turn DJ alone into a better C than we have on the roster right now...doubt being the key word...

Sorry guys didn't mean the whole trade is dead. Just DJ being included. It's early...

Because the other two teams involved have PG's named D Williams and C Billups. If we are reluctant to give up DJ, why would Utah and/or Denver give up their all-star PG's for anything that didn't involve at least Brook Lopez (who is 'untouchable').

I wouldn't expect them to trad those guys either, but they also have other PGs on their roster as well, so I understand why we don't feel it's 100% incumbent upon us to include a PG from our roster. That's where I was coming from on that...that we're not the only team involved with a PG to give up.

Confirmed that the deal is in place, just waiting on whether Nuggets will pull the trigger.
what the hell was detroit thinking. what could denver had offered for rip that detroit would have turned down? i'd taken any deal they threw at me to get rid of him.

i have to say it is nice to see us playing hardball with dj. we think he has good things left and it is nice to see us standing firm for a change rather than just getting it done to get it done.

Wouldn't it be ironic for DJ to end up on the Nets? The same team that Lopez is on ... who is the player the Bobcats called and told they were drafting, only to change their mind at literally the last second and draft Augstin.

If that's the case (and I believe it) then MJ was totally right for holding out.

I might take that lollipop avatar off after all!
