PATIENCE IS A BOBCATS FAN VIRTUE
That is the problem when something goes public but is not complete. Every other team wants to get involved and wants to cut you out.
I wouldn't give up more then just Diaw for Harris. If DJ plus Diaw for Harris doesn't happen I will be happy.
Harris and DJ have different skill sets. We can't afford to give up DJ's shooting.
DJ can be a starting caliber point guard for the Bobcats weather we get Harris or not. He just has to play at that level. They would be good together on the court when we go small.
DJ
Harris
Jackson
Wallace
Tyrus Thomas
Spectre, this is similar to what I was talking about earlier: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMa...radeId=29t3rl6
(This has New Jersey sending only 1 pick, if any since they get Jack. It also has us sending a second to NJ)
We get a PG and a C
NJ gets Melo, a PG, and two young guys to try out
DEN's new starting 5 is Billups/Jack/AK47/KMart/Nazr (with Favors, Harrington, and Birdman for depth) That's at least comparable to last year's unit
UTA gets cap space....... the only thing they're worried about
I am having my doubts about all this now unfortunatley....

http://mobile.twitter.com/HOOPSWORLDHOOPSWORLD Sources in DEN say it's looking like a deal with NJ won't go down... Carmelo headed to Denver with plans to attend Media Day in Denver.

Not good...well there was a waste of two days constantly checking the internet
Well heres what Chris Sheridan said on Twitter just now:
"Source tells me re C.Anthony trade, everyone waiting on Nuggets, not Melo. Nothing expected to go down tonight. Sunday looks like key day."

Not looking good.
Problem with that SWedd is you have Denver adding like 6 million in salary (assuming I added all that up right in my head) and I don't think they'd like that. I also question just how much value Jax has where they'd be acceptable to him.
On the bright side (depending on your stance), we've not heard one mention of us getting Melo...yet according to Berger:
One team clearly not on Anthony's list, Cleveland, deserves to be mentioned nonetheless because sources indicate that Anderson Varejao is among the players Denver has targeted as an acceptable replacement asset for Anthony. The others are Kirilenko, Andre Iguodala and Gerald Wallace, a person with knowledge of the team's strategy said.
Hope Resurrected: "I think I can bring an attitude to a team as far as, ‘All right, no matter what, we are not losing this game'." - Kemba Walker
"Its okay to be bad; just so long as you're bad ass." - Keetch
Not being able to trade firsts really puts a dampener on straight up deals
