    Woj:

Denver-NJ Melo talks still alive, with Nuggets trying to dump more salary in big deal. All except Billups and Lawson on market, sources say.

Dont we have $5 mil in cap space with all the non-guarnteed contracts we posses? Isnt that exactly how much the difference is between Nene and Nazr's expiring?

    Somebody help me out here...

I am all for getting harris, nene or anderson.

If MJ can pull off a deal where we get the three above and we get rid of the triple D's ( DJ, Diop and Diaw ) even if we don't make the playoffs but get rolling in the right direction it would be the shit.

I don't think the deal is dead, the Nuggets are just spinning shit to make people think they hold all of the cards, when in all actuality they either make this trade or lose Anthony at the end of the season.

I think it will be done and we will land harris.

I think the Bobcats are probably a playoff team if they land Nene and Harris. Just Harris? Probably not.

    Harris
    Jack
    Wallace
    Tyrus
    Nene

One of the best teams in the east imo

The problem is that the East got exponentially better this year. Even with that talent they'd still only be about a six or seven seed, at best.

So, umm... this trade wouldn't suck, (but it also works if you replace Diop with Nazr).

I'm not so sure about that. Assuming Carmelo goes to NJ, then NJ and Chicago got better. Cleveland and Toronto got a lot worse. Miami got ridiculously better, but they were ahead of the Cats in the playoffs last season anyways. The Knicks got a little better, but I still don't think they're in the playoffs. I think that Ammofan's line-up could challenge for 4th or something. Etiher way, there's no way the team gets the talent this offseason to be the top team in the east, so I'd take top 5 or 6.
