I would think that they'd just develop something that cut Utah and Charlotte out of the deal (which would suck and also be a bad idea for Denver, in my opinion).

GW and change for Melo (assuming he extends his offer) would get signed in a heartbeat by our front office. That would open the gates for CP3 in 2 years when he's a free agent.

That's true, but there is an easy counter argument. When the Nets made the Finals they couldn't even sell out. But then the counter argument is, "The arena will sell out nightly in Brooklyn. Easily. Especially when Chris Paul comes here, too."
