It's over fellas. On the ESPN Daily Dime a guy left a link to JR Smith's twitter with HE's BACK and picture of Carmelo Anthony in the Nuggets locker room. It is said that if Carmelo shows up to the Nuggets media day that the trade is off. Oh well, what else is new. Our organization is snake bit.

One avenue Denver pursued earlier in the trade discussions was getting Gerald Wallace from Charlotte in the deal, a person involved in the talks told CBSSports.com Monday. But the Bobcats have insisted throughout that they'd only trade Wallace if it meant getting Anthony in the deal, and that's not happening based on Anthony's lack of interest in playing in Charlotte. For the same reason, Denver's interest in the Sixers' Andre Iguodala is a non-starter.

So if we weren't going to recieve the best player back in the deal, why the fuck would we give up the 2nd best player in the deal? Dumbasses. It pisses me off how stupid they think our FO is. I guess that's why it didn't go down...

I agree. I believe he's just putting on a "happy face" right now. He saw how LeBron has be received and he's not going down that road. I didn't see how him showing up meant any deal was over with. The only thing I see ending deals is Carmelo deciding to stay in Denver.
