Default Exhibition Game Oct 16th In Columbia, SC

Any other Planeteers planning on going to the Exibition game versus Detroit? It's a Saturday night. STH's (that choose that option on renewal) should have recieved the following exerpt in an email today:

You are invited to watch the Bobcats and Pistons square off in a preseason game at the Colonial Life Arena on October 16! You and one guest will ride on a charter bus to Columbia, SC, enjoy dinner, hear from Bobcats executives and sit in the lower level for the game. Being a Season Ticket Holder has its privileges, and a road trip to see the Bobcats play in Columbia is one of them.

Swedd, the world works against me sometimes. I have to be in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida that week through Saturday night for a work conference. Otherwise, would be there rockin my Make Love to Pressure shirt. I hate that I have to miss it.

I'm thinking about it. With my budget, I hate paying for exhibition games when we live so close to Charlotte and cat watch the real thing. I still might, though!

Just this week I was talking to some other grown people about how we seemed like had money to do anything when we were broke and students, and now that we make a LOT more money, we always feel like we're broke.

There wasn't a generic preseason thread (least I didn't see one), so I'm bumping this one to ask if anyone is going to the Fayetteville game Wednesday night?

I'm thinking about it...it'll be about an hour, 15 minutes one way which is a little far to drive (if I'm traveling I'd rather hike the 3 hours and see a "real" game), but hey...it's the Bobcats.

This is my main concern, although there are some really great (gold circle) seats still available. And it's only an hour and a half away. Decisions, decisions.

Has anybody found any cheap seats for the Cola game? I've been looking around and only found some for $150, which is definitely a no. I'd imagine there'd be some cheap ones?

On the official site you can get nearly-courtside seats for $43 each:
