They should sell Bobcat themed Jordans and NBA 2K11 with MJ in a Cats uni on the front.
I just saw this pop up in my twitter feed and I found it quite interesting. As most fans are probably aware, the Bobcats Fan Store is mostly Bobcats apparel with a corner devoted to strictly Jordan Brand apparel, including hats, t-shirts, shorts, etc. According to the Sport's Business Journal, the Jordan part of the store will be expanding to encompass nearly half of the store.
I do not have access to the rest of the article, but I just created a free trial account. As soon as that goes through, I'll post the rest of the article. If someone is already a member, feel free to post the rest. https://www.sportsbusinessjournal.co...rticleid=67163The Jumpman logo leaps to center stage this season at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte. Jordan Brand merchandise, the high-end line of sports apparel owned by Nike and named for Michael Jordan, owner of the Bobcats, will fill almost half the redesigned team store at the NBA arena, Bobcats …
Anyway, I'm all for this. Jordan Brand apparel may be expensive (it is) but it's also popular. And, if they start selling Jordan shoes, that just sweetens the pot (especially since that's a passion of mine). I think this could be a smart way to find more revenue streams. Anyone have any thoughts?

The only reason this took so long is because Michael didn't want to push him self to far forward while he was a part owner or right after he took over last year.
Jordan Brand is the best selling 'non designer' 'named' line of shoes and apparel in the world.
Capt. Jack, DJ, and Crash are all on Team Jordan,
and he OWNS the store!

Right now, all player exclusive shoes are either released in limited quantities at Footlocker House of Hoops or kept player exclusive and not released at all. IF Jordan can determine their would be a lot of money made in releasing the Wallace exclusive or Jackson exclusive or DJ exclusive colorways of already popular models he will; and the best part is their is plenty of money to be made.
This is a smart move, if nothing else fairweathered fans will tweet about how they love our giftshop as they sit in the nosebleeds to cheer on 'their' Lakers or Heat or whatever team gets hot this year.
