preseason: Charlotte Bobcats @ Orlando Magic 10/14

Well I can't wait for the regular season to get here when we become good.

Only thing I'm concentrating on is hoping that DJ, TT, UPS and Hendo show stuff on that court. DJ seems to be more consistent, hopefully his strut is back. Watched the NBA highlights and his no-look pass was sweet.

That was a nice pass. Even more shocking is that Gana caught and finished it.

here is my take. it is obvious that jax and crash are allowed to loaf through the preseason. i completely agree with this. they need the rest and lord knows they will get their minutes during the season. but, dj and the rest of the pg's have been battling to see who's team this is. and the thing is, they all suck. and pretty bad. sure dj can score, but again, he is looking more like a jason terry 6th man than a starting pg. i really do think we are in trouble this year. i see a similar start to last season with a november panic trade of doris for calderon or something like that. maybe we strike it rich and get andre miller in some melo trade concoction. but, this just isn't shaping up to be a great start to the season. and not because we are losing preseason games, but because we are an incomplete team at 2 positions.

In the highlights on NBA.com DJ had 2 very nice "creating" assists. One to Gana that Toocool mentioned and another penetration into the paint/kickout to Boris.

The kid has it in him...we just need to see a lot more of that.
