I know that quite a few of you are making the road trip down to Columbia for tonight's game against the Pistons. Have fun down there ( that's what she said ) and be sure to give us a report on how the Cats looked in person.
Now on to this game.
- I'd like to see something out of Sherron Collins that warranted him being kept over Javaris Crittendon
- I hope to see Henderson come back from his sore hamstring and continue to show improvement over last season
- And I'm anxious to see if DJ continues his solid 3 point shooting
Although this is a meaningless game, I have a feeling that the Cats get a win tonight.
SOMEONE will pay for THIS!
Lets get'er done!!!!!

I wanna see:
Diop drop 40
DJ get double figure assits
If i see those two things i will be satisfied.
But seriously we need this win bad, im getting the feeling the team are beginning to feel like they are gonna suck. Jack said after the last game something along the lines of "the team has no identity right now and that they have a lot of young kids coming in trying to earn a roster spot

First quarter musings--
DJ looks really good. Running the offense well, good in the open court with the ball. One mistake where he drove in too far and should have pulled it up from the free throw line.*
Nazr missed about four gimmies. Two off DJ passes that should've been assists
Crash not really trying hard, missed a shot and jogged back on D
Charlie V is working Diaw on the other side of the floor
Jack looks like he's trimmed down like LB wanted. Looking pretty cut up.*
LadyCat Lacey looking delicious as ever
Nazr and Jack keep giving DJ instructions. Haven't seen him talk to LB yet
Two HUGE back to back blocks by Diop
Diaw and Jack controlling the ball on offense most of the time, working the p&r well together
How's about this: *Diop makes a pretty fadaway jumper from about 7ft out, followed by an airball free-throw from Ben Wallace haha
To end the quarter, Tyrus brought the ball down on a fast break after a block and made a nice pass to DJ but he didn't go up with the layup. First BAD play by DJ so far.*
Starters looking sloopy . Jax and Crash. Diop with 4 block s and very active . UPS looking very good
Thanks Ammofan!
Second Quarter musings--
Vicious poster dunk by UPS followed up by a Diop blocked followed by a fast break jam by Tyrus
Did I mention how delicious LadyCat Lacey looks?
Austin Daye looks good on offense
Hendo being as invisible as ever while UPS is all over the place
Diop made a baseline jumper after a block on the other end. He's looking GOOD
Darius Miles is a bum
Gorgeous fast break alley oop from Tank to UPS broken up by a foul that wasn't called
DJ is playing solid. Working well with Jack. Crash is working hard to stay invisible.*
Crash almost gets T'd up for a bogus shooting foul on Prince then gets fouled himself on a las second shot and yells at the ref and........ Gets T'd up
3rd Quarter--
DJ looking tentative this quarter. Passed up an open 3 and threw the ball away. (extended LB facepalm as a reaction)
Our fast break is a thing of beauty with all of our versatile players.*
Looks like LB got in DJs head. Missed two FT followed up by a missed open 3
Tyrus seems to have improved his ballhandling. Able to beat guys off the dribble now
Jack taking a big brother role with DJ. Probably to keep LB off his tail so much. Actually walked out and stood in front of him when DJ came out.*
UPS is a fitting name for Brown, dude has some serious ups (he can jump)
Second airball of the night--and not by Diop! *Greg Monroe on the FT
And 4th--
Tank was looking shaky but after that buzzer beater to end the 3rd he's been playing nice
UPS looking like he wants big minutes
Diop with ANOTHER block
LB rightfully getting on Hendo for not taking the ball from Diop after a rebound-- led to a steal and TT foul
TT looks really good too. The work with LB has paid off
Hendo with a good Jack wanna be back down or a turnaround J
Nice running LEFTY hook by Tyrus
Diop still can't catch lol. Stone hands
Diop block starts the fast break with an absolutely gorgeous alley oop from DJ to UPS
Good off ball p&r leads to a Diop and1
Pistons had a 2-on-1 fast break with Bynum and Monroe that led to a turnover after great DJ defense
DJ is an undeniably better ball handler than Ray.*
10 of 12 FT to ice the game from DJ and UPS. *Add in a huge steal from DJ with less than 10 seconds left. Clutch!
Much stronger performance by DJ and TT.
