Missed lastnights game, How was dj's performance???

Had to work late and missed all sports lastnight, how did he do? I am going to the games this week but I wanted to get your guys opions on how he ran the team since it was the first game on tv? his numbers looked decent. I hate how we won and all espn did was show highlights of F&^%4ng LBJ and bosh, its b.s. we never get no love even when we beat the new dream team......."We will have our day"

I felt he did well. Much much better than collins and much more up beat tempo than Felton, and much more likely to take the shot if he had it. I'm comfortable with DJ.

Showed a nice pull up jump shot from the FT line which apparantly he has been working on, he shot lights out and prob deserved more assists its just miami kept fouling (and Hendo got blocked out!!!)

He looked great. Looked like a little vet out there. 6-8 shooting, 3-3 from the 3pt and 4-4 FT is exactly what you'd want from him.

Looking at the boxscore can I also make the case that Derrick Brown better be getting some minutes this year? Every box score I see has him as one of our leading scorers off the bench. The guy has been instant offense.

I think he looked really good. The first couple games I was worried about his assist, but after watching the game I noticed that a lot of time someone else brings the ball down and starts the offence. I think they will use the pg position more for scoring this year. I don't think that's a bad idea, especially since we have a pg that can shoot. He's not doing things he can't do. Hopefully he can keep it up.

He had some plays where he shook his man and got open at the corner of the free throw line and buried the jumper. Looked a little bit like Arron Brooks at times. If he can do that consistently he will eventually draw extra guys to him in the center of the floor and have all kind of options for assists. Making his threes is nice but with this team being able to produce a good look for yourself is huge. He needs to look to score all he can. The more aggressive he is with his shot the better it is for the team.
