    Default October/November predictions

How does everyone see the opening month playing out?

I think the Bobcats will be 11-6 come December. There are a lot of winnable games out there in November. It will be tough playing many of the games of the road, but I am very optimistic about how the first month turns out.

My only real concern is Livingston. Although he was out there Friday night warming up, I have heard that he is still struggling with the injury and no one really knows if he can get back to full strength.

Now, lets just hope Time Warner Cable allows fans in the Raleigh-Durham to watch the games this year. Hopefully they will be on the special events at least. I guess we will find out Wednesday night.

Conventional wisdom says we should lose to Dallas, Orlando, Utah, Miami and split with Milwaukee. Which would be 5 loses, and a push on San Antonio, Phoenix and Houston...so that'd be 1-2 more loses.

That means we have to beat Indiana, NJ, Det, Tor, Was, Min and the Knicks twice (back to back away/home).

    I'd say 10-7

9-8. That's a brutal start with Dallas, Milwaukee, Orlando, SAS, and Utah in two weeks.

Put me down for 10-7. I think we'll start off fast this season.

I think 9-8 and, to be honest, I think we should all be really happy with that type of a start. I don't think we have ever been above .500 at the end of November. This should put us in that 7-8 spot in the East and clearly in position to make a run at the playoffs. Remember, we have started very, very slow in the past. This type of start would set us up nicely for the rest of the season.

9-8, and thats assuming we beat all the lesser teams and lose to the better teams.

Which, knowing us, we will probably beat the better teams and follow that up with losses to the lesser teams

6-11. Road games in general, plus home games against some good teams, add in the typical slow start and I'd be good with this record, and pleasantly suprised with more.
