Did it on ESPN with some of my boys here at school... So, out of 8 teams, I started picking 7th, then the order inverts the next round, then inverts back to the original order, so I picked 7th, then 2nd, then 7th and so forth. I made some reaches with some rookies in the mid-late rounds, but I think they're gonna have huge years. I was going to get Crash but somebody got to him before me in like the 3rd round. Tell me what you guys think of this roster if you don't mind...
C - Brook Lopez
PF - Zach Randolph
SF - Brandon Roy
SG - Tyreke Evans
PG - Steph Curry
G - Jax
F - Blake Griffin (surprise pick, he was a little ways down the list and this was like the 8th round or so)
UTIL - John Wall (another surprise, or 'reach' considering where he was ordered)
UTIL - Kevin Love (I was gonna take Kaman, I think this was my 2nd to last pick but someone got him right before me, I'm still happy with this one)
Bench - DJ Augustin (lol, with the last pick)

Yeah, I was gonna go with THE BIG NAMES like them. Tim Duncan was available thru the 3rd or 4th round I think, and Garnett through like the 5th or 6th. I decided to go high risk - high reward. I also took into consideration injury history, which is why I'm really crossing my fingers about the Griffin pick, for some reason, I'm feeling like that about Randolph as well.
But, I think Griffin is gonna be huge this year, as he would've been last year if he didn't get injured. I also think the backcourt with Evans and Curry is sick, and sneaking Roy in at SF. We'll see how it turns out though.
So wait a minute... you picked 7th, then in the second round you picked 2nd, and then 7th again in the third continuing on in that pattern through the entire draft? Where's the logic in picking in that manner? Is this a new style of fantasy drafting?
Yeah, that's what it was called... I guess in a way it's fair, but it still doesn't make up for those big guys you miss out on in those first 5 picks or so. My strategy was to start from the inside out, so I took Lopez first, then I was gonna go Derron Williams but someone took him so I went with Steph.
