    Default NBA 2k My Player

Anybody else get into the My Player mode on 2k11. I enjoyed it in 2k10 so I decided to make one of my favorite college players who didn't make the draft this year, JP Prince form Tennessee.

So I started out as a 6'7'' athletic point guard and so far it has been pretty easy to make an impact. I am usually playing at the top of the key on defense where the other point guard is hanging out. Any time I see a bad shot go up I break for the other end and hope somebody passes me the ball. This works way too well and I score about half my points off these type of breaks.

After a little draft combine play I was picked 23rd overall by the Timberwolves. I made it through the summer circuit and went straight to playing in the NBA. Being 6'7'' the Wolves were constantly playing me at the 2 so I demanded a trade. I ended up with the Jazz again playing the 2 this time next to Deron Williams. I demanded a trade again trying to get shipped off to the Bobcats, but this time I landed with the Lakers.

Not where I was hoping to end up but being on the Lakers has it's perks. P Gasol makes it pretty easy to get assist as the point guard. I am worried that if I demand a trade again I will end up on some crap team like the T-Wolves.

I created myself as a 6'5'' PG and ended up getting drafted 8th by the Clippers after averaging something stupid like 36/12 in the workouts. I score most of my points exactly the way you described, cherry picking like HELLLLLL haha

I'm still in the summer circuit right now but I'm fine with the position I'm in. Baron is old and won't be around forever so I'm ready to step in at form a nasty core with Eric and Griffin.

Yeah it's strange too because I put up similar numbers in the 2k10 my player add-on game thing but couldn't ever get into the first round. What combine numbers did you put up?

I think my best game was like 23 pts 7 assists 3 rebs or something like that. I did just win rookie of the month during the first month of the season though, woot!

Really they should take out the breaking because it's cheap and easy, but honestly I don't know if I could average 6 pts without it. I need the bonus to my teammate grade too.

I created myself as a 6'4 3pt happy SG out of UNC-Charlotte, got drafted rd2pk1 by the Nets, and after about 7 games found myself in the starting lineup. After 24 games, I'm averaging 29.4 ppg, 4 rbnds, and 3.5 assists. I've been named rookie of the month and eastern conference player of the week, and I've already gotten onto Jordan Brand and have my own billboard. I've gotten to the point where the Nets asked me to pick 5 guys in the league to try to trade for, but they haven't done any yet. We're 12-12 and in the playoffs. Not bad for a 2nd round pick who's a 58, huh?

edit: set a career high of 62 against the clippers I think, and had a triple double in GSW i believe. I know both happened, just don't remember the teams.

I got drafted roughly 1st Round Pick 29 or something to the Magic as a 6'2 PG out of...you guessed it Australia, kind of blitzed through Draft Combine and SL. Didn't cherry pick at all.

About 20 games in, missed about 10 games due to injury (Big Z wasn't happy when I tried to dunk on him and hard fouled me).

Just kicked Jameer Nelson out of the starting lineup, and I'm averaging 12 ppg, 13 apg, 3 rpg and 1 spg. Going quite well, love doing the P&R with Howard, just dish it to him when hes open and he'll dunk it.

Dang, 62 pts? Are you guys playing on 12min qrt?

I'm playing with a 6'10 PF, was drafted 23th by the Wolves I believe. Averaging 13 pts, 9 rbs, 2ast, 1.5 blks, in 21mins. Gotta a tendency to turnover the ball b/c at 6'10 I try to dribble like I'm a PG.

Yep yep. I'm playing like 38 mpg. It's really not that hard, I have a money J from either baseline and basically from 10-20 feet out I'm unstoppable. I'm a 6'4 Dirk, without the post game but with better passing.
