Our Military is far superior (so any air strikes would be difficult without us having prior warning) and our land mass is well-positioned to avert any sort of quick ground warfare.

The best way to attack the US is financially via wall-street or oil supply (we do a good job of panic'ing unnecessarily-see gas station lines post-Katrina).

And our Air Force would absolutely reek havoic on any incoming troops/ships/nuclear warheads/etc.

If that didn't work and it became a ground battle...our secret weapon would be putting a mask of the picture below on every American solider and civilian....I'm not really sure there is a way to combat that face...We WIN.

I agree that financially would be the easiest way for them to do it.
If China cut off their exports to the US, the Saudis cut off the oil supply and India/Mexico cut off their pool of cheap labor, we'd be living like the 1800's by the 6 month mark.

I would think (hope) that this would only happen after every other military avenue has been taken. Because every country who has them has to know that if they get launched, nobody wins and the 0.00001% of mankind that somehow survives is sent back to the stone age.
