Overall talent wise, it's close but this team is better.

But that team tried, so it gets the nod. These pathetic fucking jackass cunts have no love for the game, and no effort. Nazr, DJ, Tyrus and Liv are the only guys who play that I can enjoy watching, and DJ played like shit tonight.

Yes and I blame Larry first and foremost for playing unbalanced basketball (have you heard of a three pointer, you old fuck) and Jackson/Wallace for not being the leaders they need to be. Jackson has been a little better than Wallace this year and honestly something about attitude Gerald has seems different. DJ has done decent overall (not tonight though) but the way he plays has caused the overall ball movement of the team to get slowed and it is hurting us.

But Larry will be gone after this year, we might be trading Wallace for Carmelo, and there is probably going to be a lockout next season anyway. So this year will all be forgotten if it continues to be as bad as it is right now. Fingers are crossed that we dont need to make a major trade (just find a couple good energy guys for the bench) and everyone pulls their heads out of their asses and adjusts. Something tells me that is not going to happen this year.

NO! We are way better off now then back int he day with Sam. We may suck at the moment but we have way more talent than when we had Sam.

    Sam did more with less.

At least the team united against him. With Larry, people just point fingers everywhere.

I remember seeing GW sitting in the corner waiting on 3's a lot in Vincent Era. Starting to see a lot of that again....don't know why. The effort that has been a mainstay since the Bernie days is missing and that is not Bobcat Basketball, win or lose.

    Which just makes it worse.

We're on pace to go 29-53, which is 3 less than Sam got us...

Honestly? No. this teamtalent wise is much better unfortunately they're not united and loyal to one another, they have no love for the game, the city or the team and for that reason i pressed yes.

p.s. reading that did you think it was contradictory?........... that's because it is.

I say we were better under Sam and I can back this up. Sam had his head so far up his ass that the players played street ball, and basically played whatever they felt could get the job done, consider it basically like we had no coach, just assistants running practice, but in a game the guys didn't pay him much mind. The players we had back then were less than desirable talent wise (save for wallace, felton, and walter Hermann who we never should have traded) compared to now when we have 3/5 starters (Jax, GW, and DJ) who are good and 2 good bench players (TT and D.Brown, maybe even Livingston too), and yet we suck just as much on the court, so I'd have to say the group under Sam made better use of what they had, this team is squandering a great deal of talent to play at a 0.333 or so level for the season. Oh and there is the fact that Sam didn't get permission to blow every penny of cap space and trade first round picks for projects, just to dump the project right when it might start getting good.

While I have a great deal of concern about who our next head coach will be, and I do not doubt the skills of Larry Brown, those skills came at a very high price, a matinee entry to the playoffs for all our cap space and 2 first round picks, other bottom rung teams wound never make that deal in a million years, so with great concern I would say we need to start weeding through potential coaches today, not tomorrow.

Much better than the Vincent era. Remember also that now teams actually consider us a serious match-up. Before, we were a punchline, a team you could "rest" on while you prepared for the next game. Now, teams know that we're a good (or at least were good) team and come prepared to play each night. We're not getting thus stolen wins that we used to get playing from sheer emotion. Things are not looking good, but we're comparing what we have now to recent memory: last year's over .500 playoff team.
    SOMEONE will pay for THIS!
