    Default I Live in Denver

Let me just say the trades you guys are coming up with are nothing short of insane.

Outside of Charlotte Gerald Wallace is slightly above average at best. Sorry folks I'm sure you guys think he is great. Call me when you avg over 20 a game (just one time in your career) and make more free throws than Shaq.

Then you guys think pair more trash with Wallace and believe it will make it better? And don't forget the Nuggets will throw in Nene or JR HAHAHAHAHA take Billups and K mart as well. sounds fair right?

Charlotte does not have the players/contracts to offer for Melo. Sorry folks

No one even mentioned 1st round picks?? Teams are offering 2 of them plus a top 10 rookie with expiring contracts.

You wouldn't trade a Mercedes for 1 Honda civic and 3 pintos would you?

Last I checked, basketball was more than just scoring. Silly things like rebounding, defense and intangibles (hustle, heart, etc) are equally important. Next time keep that in mind before you come over on to an opposing teams board with your homerism.

I am not suggesting Wallace > Melo. But I am most certainly suggesting Wallace is not a Honda Civic.

Even if Wallace was a a Civic, as you say, you don't understand your team's situation. Denver is in a position where they may lose Anthony for nothing. Anthony has to agree to sign an extension to be of serious value to any team. If he doesn't do that, Denver is getting pennies on the dollar for him, as he becomes a half season rental. Wallace would be more than a fair price for an unextended Anthony.
    SOMEONE will pay for THIS!

Exactly. It must be a team with whom he will extend, AND it has to provide Denver with something which is better than them merely letting him walk and be happy with the Cap space. Has to be BOTH or nothing happens. Our friend in Denver is acting as if Melo still has another year or so under Contract. But I understand his frustration with the Denver situation.

You're right on it about that. I'm sure we've come up with our own ideas, but as far as Wallace goes, Denver was reported as wanting him back before the season started. So they seem to value him, perhaps more than they do a Civic.

plus something you didn't mention on your rant. we didn't start the idea of melo coming here. it was reaction to jordan pursuing melo. the board was all speculation of what the trade could be. and newsflash, you aren't getting multiple firsts and crash for a 1/2 season rental of melo. so unless denver wants what the knicks are offering, (those draft picks will be shit with melo on the team) then you are stuck listening to other teams offer colorful beads and blankets for manhattan.

Do u want anything on return for Melo or not? Gerald was an All Star last year and he no one else is offering you guys any All Stars. Would you rather have Danillio Gallinari and Wilson Chandler or Gerald Wallace and Boris Diaw?

Melo = a Mercedes that is up for repo!

You know...something you are about to lose with no return whatsoever. Ask Cleveland if they would like to have a Honda Civic back instead of taking the bus to work now. And to echo some of the other posters, Wallace is no Civic.

You really don't understand Gerald Wallace's value which is understandable because until last year, no one knew who he was. Rumor was back during the Melo to NJ talks Denver was really pressing Charlotte for Wallace, but MJ wasn't giving him up unless Melo came here. Fact is Denver likes Wallace, even if you don't.

and don't be mad at us when you should be mad with your management for nixing the summer deal with njn. melo is now seeing how much fun amare is having and how rocking the garden is again. there is no way he wants to be in nj now. it is only the knicks. and if you don't think everyone around the league knows this you are fooling yourself.
