The 11s are the greatest shoes ever made. I went by the mall to see if I could get a pair but they're sold out of every size. You better believe I'm gonna grab a pair whenever I can. I'd rather have the white with black or the Space Jams but beggars can't be choosers I guess
Did you get them to ball in or to keep as a collector's item?
I know some people won't ever wear them and keep them "deadstock" but I won't. I like to wear my sneakers. I may ball in them once or twice, but not regularly; just out and about.
If you wanted a pair of these from the mall or really any place that had them, you probably had to lineup many hours ahead of time. I waited about 4-5 hours for these, arriving at the arena around 9ish. Others got up at 3 and waited at Foot Lockers and other stores that opened at 8. For the 11s, it's never easy. You either have to camp out, know a guy who can reserve you a pair from a local store or buy online with a markup price.
Congrats CardboardGerald, so...how long did it take GW to ask you for YOUR autograph?
Hahaha...haven't they met before though (since I believe it has been autographed before)
hahahahaha it was mutual. I signed his shirt for $50
No, I've never met Gerald before. But you are correct; he has been signed before, first by Alexis Ajinca (on the back where no one ever sees it :P), then by David Thompson and Muggsy Bogues, and now by Gerald, Jax and DJ
