We could do a WHOLE lot worse IMO.
Thought I'd give this it's own thread instead of in with the Silas as coach thread. Our friends at RealGM via Marc Steain have let us know that should the Blazers not extend McMillan, the Bobcats would be highly interested.

Not a bad idea at all, I believe. Of course time will tell who's available but I'd be happy with McMillan as the permanent coach.
We could do a WHOLE lot worse IMO.

Hmm interesting...I dont know much about him. Does anyone know if he is well liked by players and what not?

I could see it happening. MJ has been known to be partial to ACC guys and I would think the interest would be mutual on McMillan's part. Having a chance to come home and coach the Bobcats would likely appeal to him at some level. He's a seasoned, veteran coach who's had some success turning teams around that were previously in disarray. I wouldn't be mad at all if he ended up being the guy.
He's a great coach but his style is too similar to Larry's for my taste. I'm ready to move on from the slow, deliberate offense and so is our team.
He is a good coach but lets see what Silas does with the team first.

As said before, the guy's a good coach but he runs such a sloowwww offense that our roster clearly doesn't benefit from and quite frankly I'm tired of watching it night in and night out.
I'd be happy with him. And also there was a tweet from Wojo over the Holidays which mentioned Ty Corbin as a name to watch for Charlotte in the long run. Said he is turning a lot of heads right now. Will have to see what MJ wants.
