Default The "What are you reading?" thread

OK, its a day before 2011, so sue me

I am currently reading on my brand new Nook Color the book "One Second After".

Its about the after effects of what would happen if an EMP occurred, and how we would handle it unexpectedly being in a world with no electricity, no cell phones, no automation, no long distance communication.

So far its a good read.

    What are you guys reading?

So...you are basically reading the Book about Larry Brown's Offensive Sets? That's how old they are.

LB's offensive sets are actually written on stone tablets.

I read One Second After a few years ago, excellent read. Plus it's based close to here so the references made sense. And pretty accurate, too.

I received Game Change by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin for Christmas. It's about the 2008 presidential election and all the interesting things involved with it. I just got started, but so far, so good.

I'm starting off the year on a serious note. Love In The Time Of Cholera followed by a little Dostoevsky. After that, who knows? Probably some sci-fi or maybe some books on religion (in other words more sci-fi, heh heh).
