"Game On" by Tom Farrey... ESPN book which discusses how kids are involved in sports these days. The myths against the truths of the child sport world. UCLA athletes donating sperm for money so that parents can use theirs to have athletic babies. Yeah, good book.

I've just started an Arthur C. Clarke "The Songs of Distant Earth"...I can't remember if I've already read it but wanted to give tribute since he died...I've always found him to be a good read at any rate and another 20-30 pages and I (hopefully will) might remember if it is a re-read....LOL
A tribute to "Crash"...We'll miss you Dude...

Gun Monkeys by Victor Gischler, Finder by Greg Rucka, and Rum Punch (again) by Elmore Leonard. Contemporary crime/thriler at its best.

I need a Basketball Book! I'm not reading that Bill Simmons crap. Any Suggestions?

Slam! By Walter Dean Myers (I think) is pretty damn good. Probably more suited to the younger crowd but I enjoyed it.

If Audiobooks count, I'm currently listening to and enjoying How to Succeed in Evil

Luciano Floridi's Philosophy of Information. Doing a seminar on it and it's pretty interesting.

    Let's bump this one.

Any Bond, James Bond fans out there?

I have always been a gigantic Bond nut--from Connery to Craig, but I have never thought to read the books. What a mistake! I finished the first one (Casino Royale) last week and am already halfway through the second (Live and Let Die) and I have to say they're fantastic. Very quick read and cheap to get on Amazon.

Behemoth by Scott Westerfeld (2nd book in the Leviathan series). Easily accessible steampunk goodness.

As for comics, Nightly News by Jonathan Hickman.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.

It's not life altering by any means, but so far it's a solid read.
