I understand the heart of the team and all that but if he's hurt, he needs to sit down. Playing hurt isn't helping him or the team.
Also, his playstyle has changed in a LOT of ways. You'd almost never see Wallace go into 4th without a FG in season's past because he'd be on the glass fighting for boards - now he's out by the 3pt line or rolling off screens for jumper at the elbow. His man defense has been bad too... really bad. I think a lot of us are realizing that the Wallace who liked to fill up the stat sheet with multiple blocks steals and double digit rebounds is gone. Whether it be the injuries piling up, the new approach to the game, or a new mentality regarding how he takes care of his body, many are just trying to get what value we can for him before its all gone and each time he hits the floor or starts to hold something everyone gets a little sick inside.
That moment in the Bulls game was one of the few times this season that Wallace has approached the game like he did in the past.
Not sure what hate Steve Smith gets, but its not his fault that no one could get him the ball or get the attention of the defense on the other side of the field. He had a rookie QB staring him down, telegraphing the play, all season long...
