The Wallace hate is way over blown. So is the myth that he isn't a good player anymore. I never expected him to duplicate his rebounding numbers from last year.

All basketball players have up and down periods. If you sell every time a player is down a little bit because you suspect the sky is falling it won't get the team anywhere. There have been plenty of times most of you have been ready to trade DJ or Hendo but they seem to be playing well now. Give it some time with Wallace.

Get rid of Jackson though he sucks.

I will admit, the end of that list Wallace COULD sneak into, but not based on his play of late. It is a weaker list than I thought, so my apologies for the attitude!

That is just laughable. It isnt all about scoring points you know. You have to play defense as well. How many of the guys you listed have an NBA 1st team defense and an allstar. If you talk about true SF not sg and pf who can play the position he is easily in the top 10.

Same right back at you. It's not all about defense you know? You have to score as well. And right now Wallace is not doing either. He's not playing defense, and he is certainly not playing offense. At least all those guys score, and most do play solid defense. Your living in the past. If anything is clear, it's that Wallace is not the same player as last season....

From what I remember he was still having 20 and 10 games up until he repeatedly injured his ankles. So he sat out while we got a new coach and completely changed the style this team plays. Give him time to heal and adjust and you will see the same old Wallace.

I think alot of people are missing out on the fact the Jackson and Wallace play the same position. We may start Jackson at SG but he's a SF that scores points pretending to be a SG. Other than score what does Jackson do? Complain? We can expect Wallace to rebound, block a couple shots, maybe get a steal or two. Wallace has never been a scorer, so seeing so many people complain about that is funny. This team doesn't post Wallace up anymore, Teams know he's going to drive so they collapse the lane on him.

Wallace basically has to do his job plus Diaw's. Where's the thread wondering why Diaw only takes 5 shots a game. Last night it was close to 5 mins before halftime when Diaw finally hit a shot. Wallace has been and will always be the perfect role player. He's not going to take over the game in the last 2 mins. He hasn't played better then last year, But other than DJ who has?
As long as NC has a team, I'm going to cheer for it

We would of lost to the Bulls with out Wallace. Who else on the team could have done what he did in those few minutes right after someone re-aggravated his injured ankle.

i would take wallace over chandler and wright. either way it is absolutely not laughable that i said he is a top 10 sf and i think you proved that.

DURANT is the definition of a SF!! How could you even consider him a SG?! It was proven him as a SG was a terrible move...just terrible. He is a SF. And yes, your right. He is JUST outside the top 10 but only because of the lack of talent around the league. I didn't realize it was so weak. Chandler and Wright are both having really good years, you put them on this team in place of Wallace and we would be instantly improved. I would take Gallinari over Wallace as well. SO yeah, top 10 is not laughable. But Durant as a SG is...
