    Default The Comics Thread

I've been going back and reading a few comic sagas that I missed out on over the past several years and have been enjoying them quite a bit. I just finished 'Civil War' and am currently finishing up 'Planet Hulk'

What were the best TPB or comic arcs that you guys have read over the past 10-15 years?

What do you recommend for me?

Wasn't there a thread like this not too long ago? I read mostly indies, but I'm enjoyed a lot of Vertigo titles. The Moore Swamp Thing run is one of the greatest comic stories ever.

This is where I used to find out about most of my comics: http://www.tcj.com/
    SOMEONE will pay for THIS!

The single best comic I have ever read. If you want to try it out be prepared... it has published daily since Monday June 12, 2000... the art back in the day was not the best but the writing is killer

I've been planning to "pick up" The Mice Templar series...

... so, naturally, I'd recommend that.

Also, if you're a Fallout fan, look up Fallout: New Vegas - All Roads, a great one-shot the story of which precedes the game.

Recently, I've been stuck on The Amory Wars and the Uncanny X-Men (the 'Rogue Storm' fiasco).

Also, assuming you know bunch of things about CB publishers...

... oh, and find Singularity 7!

    Singularity 7 looks really good.

I'll see if I can get my hands on that!

With all this news about The Darkness 2 coming out, I've been considering the comic book series (reading it, that is)... anyone here read it already?

Just finished up "Old Man Logan"

It was great! Nothing like seeing a retired pacifist Wolverine bump heads with the hillbilly in-bread offspring of the gamma irradiated Bruce Banner.
