Red face New Bobcats fan / Season Tickets / Parking ?

Hello, this is my first post. I have lived in Charlotte a few years and I am getting back into watching basketball (don't think I've watched too much since Jordan retired). Anyways, I really want to like the Bobcats and I hope Jordan steers them in the right direction. I know it's a whole other area but I'm wondering what will change (coach and trades) for next season. As it looks like our playoff chances this year are getting slimmer, especially when we lose to the Nets.

I have been thinking about getting season tickets upper level. Are there typically promos or good deals to wait for? I know they have the early bird now? Are there any incentives or extra things that I can get?

My wife and I have gone to about 6 games at TWC and it's been fun! Not always a win like we would like to see but ya know. Also, any suggestions on where to park?

Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Welcome to the Planet...

The team has run many promos...last season they had a buy one-get one free season tickets for the upper deck...I expect they'll run something very similar for next season...

I drive to the 485 light rail parking decks and ride the light rail in.

Hello, Thanks for the info. If someone does buy the buy one get one...does it then renew at the same rate or change to the full rate the next year? I am just wondering as that could become a huge savings if it stayed at that rate, but I would doubt it.

Maybe there will be a promo at the Lakers game as will be there on Monday!

I wish the lightrail was a little more convenient for us to use. I know for parking (so far) we usually parked at the garage at Brixx pizza.

trckn...they've offered renewal this year for the same buy-one-get-one free as last to current tickets holders...at least they have to me...but I'm sure they'll eventually go back to standard pricing...

I think right now they just want fans at the games...

    Welcome to BobcatsPlanet!

I'm pretty sure that with some season ticket packages they give you discounted parking or possibly free parking. If not, the light rail is always a great way to go because it's cheap and it lets you off at the front door(kinda lol).

Yeah I do this too since I'm in South Charlotte. I think sometime next year the blue line is supposed to go to UNCC, followed by another line that runs up to Huntersville.

Parking wise I used to park at the garage on 5th street next to the Buckhead Saloon for Checker games, before the the tower above it went under construction. It was $5 and you payed on your way out.
