Default Bobcats Still Looking To Move Jackson

The Bobcats are making a majority of their players available heading into Thursday's trade deadline.

They would love to trade Stephen Jackson, but they haven't been able to find a suitor for the swingman.

That makes Boris Diaw the more likely trade target. However, his salary may make a trade difficult.

Diaw is making $9 million this season and has a player option for another $9 million.

“The Bobcats want to change their team a bit,” a general manager told Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports.

Weird. I never even saw this pop up on the RGM main page and I check it everyday. I figured our FO would've cooled on trading Jack with our better performance under Silas and his game-winner against ATL (along with several good games around that one). I guess they are also really starting to believe in Hendo. But, if Jack is not getting interest like that I don't see the point in forcing a trade unless we get youth or picks back because Jack at least produces; Diaw, Nazr, Diop, or Carroll would all be better to trade IMO.

I think this particular report is wrong. My thinking is that we DONT want to deal him because we aren't getting significant enough offers. I think we would let him go but no one is offering what we want.

No I thought the article was saying we can't find a suitor for him, as in no one wants him. Im saying we can't find a deal we like....

It seems to me that there would be some teams interested. He would be a great Melo replacement if Denver wants to make a playoff run. Something like some combo of Jack/DJ/Derrick Brown for some combo of Lawson/Jr Smith/Felton.

I put this up as a new thread yesterday but it was posted at yahoo sports that ziggy unfortunately "killed" with the server change...it looks like a rehash of older articles to me and contradicts the latest (last 2-4 days) reports that say we're looking to add a player to Crash and Jack and not trade them...
A tribute to "Crash"...We'll miss you Dude...
