That is amazing that Ray can go from borderline All-Star with the Knicks to getting bench minutes with the Nuggets.
I agree with you BlockParty, there must be something else in place to move him off of the Nuggets before the deadline.
I know it doesn't make sense. And it lends even more support to Felton being traded again in the next 48 hours, but Denver coach George Karl said last night that Lawson would be their starter.
And Felton can be moved, but I think they would have to wait 60 days if Denver wanted to add multiple players with him in a package (which puts them after the season).

As for the Nuggets, well, they've loaded up on assets, all right.
Chandler, 23, has averaged 16.4 points and 5.9 rebounds this season. The speedy Felton — who, like Denver's Ty Lawson, won a national title as a University of North Carolina
point guard — is having his best pro season, averaging 17.1 points and 9.1 assists.
Keeping in mind that Lawson is Denver's point guard of the future, it's possible the Nuggets trade Felton. Karl said Lawson will be the team's starting point guard.

Felton got screwed by the Knicks. He was playing at nearly an all-star level and all of the sudden he's riding the bench?? There has to be something in the cards for him.

Agreed with what others said, Felton got screwed by the Knicks... BIG TIME! I bet he's wishing he was back here in a Bobcat uni.
Felton will be a starter again, Karl came out and said after a week or two he would start Felton after he gets comfortable with system. He likes Lawson off the bench more anyway. Hey Felton played so well he became an asset ya know, thats what the league is about, I would have traded him for Carmelo too, im sure everyone would have. With that being said I think Denver became better with the new guys because they are deeper. Gallinari is inconsistent but he will be an all-star in this league one day. Denver will help him thrive in their system
I feel for Felton man, i hope he gets picked up as a starter for....i don't know, the Kings, then totally destoys the Knicks regularly.
