This from Ingram...I think it's a matter of getting the best deal for the best player available...and I don't blame MJ for that...
"Once Carmelo Anthony and Deron Williams made their treks across the country, the NBA Trade Deadline quickly turned into the Gerald Wallace sweepstakes, with teams from Houston to Atlanta to Cleveland to Portland scrambling to get a deal on the table to lure Wallace away from the Bobcats.
According to multiple sources the Portland Trail Blazers are going to win the Wallace sweepstakes in what could be a multi-team deal.
The HOOPSWORLD team is following this story closely and will have more details in this space as they become available.
Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Michael Jordan is having second thoughts about this trade. What was characterized a short time ago as a "done deal" is now very much up in the air again.
Stay tuned . . .Bill Ingram"

Again, the jackass that reported it being done backpedaled more than Rod Woodson did for his entire career in the matter of two hours.
He said he had a source that said it was done. That was then picked up by PBT among others and reported as fact. Then he says the story leaked and he didn't "publish" it. What an idiot. That pisses me off and Twitter does allow idiots like him to "report" stuff without any responsibility or accountability for what they do.
Massive kudos to GW being at the autograph session tonight! He knows what the fuck all this noise is about, and that he may have played his last game in a Cats jersey, but he was still there in his usual good cheer for the fans. Special fella this Gerald Wallace.
"The Charlotte Hornets name has been a mainstay throughout the region for many years, and we are excited to announce our intention to re-establish this historic brand. We believe that its return will galvanize our fan base by unifying our loyal Bobcats fans with those who have strong memories of our city's NBA predecessor." MJ, 5-21-13
This from Eric Pincus...I wonder if he's going to report on all "the other" teams not trying to get Crash...geez...
Eric Pincus: Clippers still not trying to get gerald wallace now

I think what happened is that Wallace's stock has just gone up, and MJ knows he can get more than Pryzbilla and picks for him
If a deal is truly going to happen then everyone look at who is in the lineup tonight when Portland faces LA. If a certain few players are missing then this deal may very well be done.
