DJ already has a contract for next year. Dante is the one that expires. I will agree with you though, he has shown some skill
Granted I havent seen much of him in the last couple games. But what little I have seen I think I like. Big guy...6'9 251..a real PF. He's rebounded well and scored in double digits the last couple games. Right now I say bring him back next year. He and Tyrus are both young and could finally give this team depth and production from the PF position. I know it's early and I've missed alot of the last two games, So if I've missed something and my hopes are to high...Let me know why

West coast game suck, they start between 2:30-3:30 am here so i have not been able to watch any of him. However the box score shows him to be not only productive but Efficient
also so i like what i see!

His mid range game is well documented and he is a worker on the glass, which is such a refrehing change from Diaw. His game reminds me,has similarities of David West. So, a poor mans David West. With Oakley, DJ could be a steal. I wanna see Silas play him around 20-22 minutes from here on out, cut Diaw's minutes down accordingly.

DJ has looked very solid so far. I've been impressed with almost every facet of his game. He uses his wide frame extremely well which has enabled him to be effective on the boards. His mid-range J is automatic and he's also demonstrated above average ball-handling ability for a player his size. I think he's definitely a keeper and will provide us with great depth at the 4.
He has been a very pleasant surprise. I think I had read somewhere when the Nazr trade was made that part of the reason was wanting DJ White. Hopefully with Oakley's help he can improve his game a good bit more.
I was wondering why we shipped out Nazr for DJ White. Nazr was an asset to us with his size and expiring contract... I'm surprised we didn't send Nazr to Orlando instead of OKC.
