Utah blowing that game last night to the Hornets really hurts. Especially when it is Okafor who gives up what looks like the foul to cost them, and then he hits that miracle shot to put it into OT. But that said, seeing David West go down like that is NOT what I wanted to see happen. It may help us by costing NO some games down the stretch, but you never like to see a good player go down with a knee injury that may cost him the rest of his season.

    Default David West's Injury

I hate to see the big man go down, but I love what it could mean for the Bobcats.

If West misses any time, the Hornets could easily slip out of the playoffs.

Very true. And I would dearly love for that pick to be a Lottery pick for us. It allows us to use it or combine it with a player in a trade to move it up higher in the draft. That said, I absolutely hate for it to come at the expense of David West and that injury. It looks bad.

Yeah, I watched that as it happened, he was in a TON of pain. I got queasy watching the Jazz tv crew showing the replay, and you should've seen how quickly the cameramen and fans where West was got out of the way.

I will ALWAYS cheer against the Hornets, but I never want that to come by way of an injury.

P.S.: Fuck you, Mek. Really, fuck you.

Official, West out for season with torn ACL

9th place Houston's remaining schedule is much easier than NO's but they are three games behind them. They do play each other in early April (at NO). Right now it looks like the pick we get from NO will be either 17th or 18th but if Memphis and Houston pass them, the pick turns into 14th. Heck, the 10th place Suns are only 4 behind them and they win the tie breaker. We may get the 13th pick if everything falls right.

NO's next two games, at Suns, at Lakers.

Yeah, that Mek "shot" was insane. That sucked. Not sure what their schedule looks like down the stretch, but I think Chris'll keep in the playoffs despite the West injury. Still, I'm definitely a Rockets and Grizz fan hoping they can close the gap and help give us our second lotto pick...
