I agree, but I liken him to Dwayne Wade when he first came in the league. I'd rather he work on his isolation one on one game a lot this summer. Usually the three pointer is the last thing that comes to the guys who really are going to be stars in the league. We've got three guys starting now that can hit the three on a pretty consistent basis, so it's not a huge thing at the moment.

I bet he can hit 3's but he seems like a smart player who goes for the higher percentage shots. I think over the summer you will see his 3 point shooting and handling improve significantly.

i don't think he will ever be a good 3 pt shooter somewhere above 40% from three with more than 60 attempts and that is fine. he isn't that type of shooter and never has been. i think he is best served to perfect his mid-range game especially continuing to be a knock down guy from 18 ft in off of screens. this creates movement in the offense. i think a better strategy is to surround him with a great shooting pg and sf and if we can find one a stretch 4.

Agreed. As long as he is consistent on a mid range jumper and he can take it to the hoop too, he will be a very solid NBA player. I really love his defense, and that is a huge plus.

He won't ever be a good outside shooter. That's just a skill you either have or don't have. You can make it better, yeah, but he won't ever make more than 15 three's in a season
