Without quoting any basketball references, I think Gerald can absolutely develop into a good 3 point shooter.
There are many examples of this happening with players. Think about it, a guy like Gerald dominates at every level (prior to NBA) with his athleticism. If you can shake a guy and then jump over another, why would you shoot 3's? I'm sure that is the case with him in high school and before as well. I have watched him at Duke and even in college, he was a dominant athlete so why shoot 3's.
While I didn't see Hendo play before college, I am truly enjoying watching him develop from his freshman year at Duke to now. The development is astounding and I see nothing to lead me to beleive that it won't continue. 3 point shooting is the next logical step. I believe he will do it.
With that being said, he will never be Ray Allen or Reggie Miller but a 40% shooter would be amazing.
i don't think he ever gets close to 40% with a minimum of 60 attempts. nor do i want him shooting that many three's anyway.
