Williams has all the hype because he had a really good tournament. I honestly dont think he will be the top pick.....I would pick Irving
So everyone is in love with Williams game and he will either be the 1st or 2nd pick in the draft. Williams is the new era PF in the NBA (stretch 4) and I think he can have an immediate impact on whoever drafts him......... But, I didn't hear very much about him during his freshman year and I looked his stats up and they looked like another Freshman this season (Terrance Jones). I think that Jones could show the same type of improvement over the next year but, it won't be at Kentucky.
What are your thoughts on drafting Jones at 9? As far as potential, I'm not sure anyone available at 9 would have a higher ceiling.
6'8 244lbs. 19 years old. 16 pts, 9 reb, 2 blocks as a Freshman in the SEC is a pretty solid debut.

I would definitely be fine with Terrence Jones, especially at 9. We could do a LOT worse.
Let me know if you want a more in depth rundown of his game (I've seen him about 10 times), but suffice to say he's behind Derrick Williams, Harrison Barnes, and Kawhi Leonard on my SF wishlist and just ahead of Jordan Hamilton.
Swedd: I would have basically the same list except I might have this instead:
Derrick Williams
Harrison Barnes
Terrance Jones/Jordan Hamilton tied...
Kawhi Leonard

I would be fine with him assuming one of the bigs dont fall to 9.
What I would really like to know is how he compared to Williams last season (A freshman to freshman comparison). Obviously D-Will put in some work and improved his game a lot of this summer... Just hoping we could get the #1 overall pick - 1 year early because he left after his freshman season vs. coming back for the Soph campaign.
I would rank Terrance 3rd behind D-Will & Harrison but, both of those guys will be long gone by the 9th pick.
I like T. Jones, Leonard & Hamilton in that order....Perry Jones if he is still around somehow. Keith Benson with 2nd rounder or our 2nd 1st if he works out well. 3 & 5 is where to look unless a freakish talent at another position winds up available.
