Default Welp, Chris Paul Says He Thought About Playing Here, BUT...

at the end of the day guys want to win...they askd would I want to return home and I told them I'm focused here in NO and that's the future and anything can happen
Smh... That's why the mid-season trade is harder to fathom, because we needed to win with guys like CP3 and Howard becoming FAs soon. Then again, if we get lucky and hit on the picks this draft, it could make a huge difference. I hope CP3 still considers us.

actually us trading away our fat is exactly what we needed to do, we can follow what the Heat did, and correct their mistakes.. we sign CP3, then with our remaining cap space, we will add the players specifically needed to fit his playstyle, u kno building around him.. if i was a superstar i would much rather want that situation, then to sign into a team that wasn't specifically built for me

    Good points stun...

The Observer's blurb on it sounds much more optimistic than the realgm post:

Chris Paul remembers every detail of the first time he met Michael Jordan. Now referring to him as his mentor, could Paul decide to return home next year and make Jordan his boss?

"It would definitely be something to think about," the New Orleans guard said Tuesday when asked about the 2012 potential to sign with the Jordan-owned Charlotte Bobcats. "But right now it's all about trying to win a championship here with the Hornets."

All he is really saying now is that he is a Hornet and is focused on being one and winning. He doesnt really say anything about Charlote. He is just annoyed that the press turn a story out of nothing.
O and of course the observer is more optimistic, it has to be as a charlotte based newspaper

He said exactly what I would expect him to......"still trying to win here in New Orleans". Why would he say anything else about it if his team is about to go to the Playoffs?
